It is clear that HTC is really getting pride in its latest
smartphone releases. This has been attributed to the very high number of
positive reviews that followed the launch of HTC One M8. Compubench benchmark
has leaked some of the specs for HTC One M9 and HTC One M9 plus. Let me share
some of these specs with you.
Recall that the previous version namely the HTC One M8 had duo
cameras. However, this is not the case this time. These two phones are both
expected to have a 20MP primary camera of course with a flash. The front facing
camera in HTC One M9 will be a 12MP camera with video recording abilities of up
to 2160p, while that on the HTC One M9 plus will be capped at an awesome
2048×1536 video recording capability with the 12MP front camera. That is indeed
a great advancement for this high end phone series.
According to gsmarena, the HTC One M9 variant is expected to
have a sharper display- a QHD (1440×2560px). It is safe to expect a larger
screen size because of the contradicting rumors about the display size. The
chipset detection done by this benchmark reveals a MediaTekMT6795 chipset. It
will be based on eight small cortex-A53 cores, 3GB RAM as well as packs PowerVR
Rogue G6200 Chipset that is used in Meizu MX4.
The base model of this phone will have a 5 inch 1080p
display powered by Snapdragon 810 with 4 cortex A57 cores, 4 A53, 3GB Ram and
Adreno 430. Both the phones are also expected to come out of the box with the
latest android version, Android
5.0 Lollipop operating system. Also expect to get an internal storage of
32GB in-built, with a total of 23GB user available. It is therefore clear that
this will be the best HTC phone to be released. Also watch out for the release
of HTC Butterfly 3.
